10 Spirited Vuvuzela Pictures (With No Annoying Buzzing Sound)

Posted by Nate Kay

The vuvuzela has been introduced as a common noise heard during the 2010 World Cup. In my opinion it’s a cheap plastic horn that takes away the usual soccer stadium atmosphere. It has no variable pitch and sounds like a bunch of bees buzzing. If you’ve watched one of the games, the vuvuzela is about all you hear during the match. I really hope it goes away after this World Cup, but I suppose there are those who absolutely love making one of the most annoying sounds in the world so I’m sure we’ll see it around in the future.

Personal thoughts aside, here are 10 vuvuzela pictures that show the spirit of the game of football without that annoying buzzing sound.
