Depending on lighting, perspective and environment, greenhouses can look beautiful or eerie. Abandoned greenhouses, where plants are overgrown or dead, give an impression that nature has taken over, perhaps a scientific experiment gone wrong. Old conservatories show wealth and majesty, while a well-kept little greenhouse gives a glimpse into someone’s hobby and source of pride. Instead of photographing only the flowers and vegetables growing inside, the greenhouse itself is a good subject to explore.
