When you look up and see the moon, you are always looking at the same side of it. The moon’s rotation around it’s own axis matches it’s rotation around the earth which causes the same side to always be facing the earth.

One of the best hikes in the world is the West Coast Trail, which follows the southwestern edge of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. The trail is 75 km (47 miles) long and has plenty of beauty to photograph. With beaches, forests, bogs, waterfalls, mud, streams, and a variety of wildlife, there is a guaranteed great experience, even if it rains a bit.

I find it intriguing that you can put a bunch of twisted metal into the ground, paint a few lines on concrete, hang a few circular rings from a bar, build a few plastic houses and a few springy animals that don’t go anywhere, and you can create one of the happiest places on earth for a kid. Imagination is a wonderful thing.

Many times we tend to want to do our own thing in life. Peaches are one of my favorite fruits. Anything with peaches makes it better. Iced tea, sparkling water, pie, waffles, barbecue sauce, and yogurt are just a few of the many things that are improved with peaches. But if you’re like me, there is nothing like sinking your teeth into a perfectly ripened, juicy peach on a hot sunny day. These photos bring out the best of the wonderful peach.
