A Source of Photography Inspiration

I was never into clowns as a kid. I always thought they were more creepy than cool. Watching the Joker in Batman when I got older reaffirmed my views on the subject. I do admire the fact though that a clown can be both fun and scary at the same time.

The effective use of spotlight can make a good photo great. Here are 18 pretty cool images that use that technique.

Fruit is one of my favorite things to eat. I’m sorry if your favorite fruit is missing from this collection, but my mouth was watering from seeing all these great photos so I had to quit and head out to the fruit stand to satisfy my craving before I could finish finding all of the wonderful fruits.

I love thunderstorms. I lived in an area once that was known for having some awesome shows of power by nature and I would routinely just sit outside on my porch to feel the thunder and watch the lightning display it’s marvelous beauty. It’s amazing how much attention we give to how much power humans can create through our own technology and thinking yet nature continues to make the strongest armies bow when it decides to release it’s fury.

I know a few people who lost a good friend of theirs just over a year ago. On June 6th, 2008, Shaun Lunt was tragically killed while flying his Piper Super Cub in Alaska. An avid pilot and photographer, he was spending another summer up there documenting his bush flying and the beautiful scenery that Alaska has to offer through his camera.
