A Source of Photography Inspiration

Within Two Worlds depicts an alternate perspective by giving us the illusion of times movement, signifying a beginning and end within a world of constant contradiction. It appears you are traveling in the midst of a dream, half-sleeping, half-waking, and touching the arch connecting heaven and earth.

The subject of knowledge is explored in Vedas by photographer Nicholas Alan Cope and art director Dustin Edward Arnold in the specific aspect of how the Copernican revolution provoked radical changes in thought, thanks to the book De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium, one of the earliest documents of the scientific revolution.

Known for her amazing self-portraits, Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir, who’s from Iceland, has many other projects that she dedicates her time for. One of them that she enjoys is photographing Icelandic horses.

As a tribute to their friendship, five friends from California have photographed themselves every five years in the same spot since 1982. The men, now in their late 40s, just recently took their 7th picture in June.

Jeff Friesen is an award-winning photographer who claims he’s a serious person, ‘much given to brooding and brow-furrowing.’ But that’s only one part of his life. The other part he spends hanging out with his family, going camping, building sandcastles, jumping in waves, and so on.

If you’re working in a room with a great view, you’ll know that a view can be both a major distraction and a wonderful thing to stare at while you mull over ideas, problems, fantasies, etc.

Pedro Szekely has been a big fan of photography since 2005, when he bought a Canon Rebel. He started out by purchasing books and magazines that helped him learn, while also spending time out in the field. Pedro lives and works in Los Angeles, about a mile from the coast, and whenever he sees a nice sunset he’ll head for the beach.
