30 Cool Abandoned Houses Pictures

Posted by Nate Kay

There is something cool and creepy about an abandoned house. You always wonder what the story behind it is. Did the owners die? Was the place condemned? Was it left to crumble because opportunity called elsewhere? Is the place haunted? Whatever the case, these old abandoned houses provide some great opportunities for photography. Here are 30 great examples of abandoned house pictures.

it’s a shame that these places that meant so much to families were abandoned
for what ever reason…they were castles in their day…look how long they have stood the test of time. unfortunately building codes and progress have made them obsolete and unlivable….

Once it was a home with wormth, now awaits only to collaps….
Keeping these photographed is a very nice idea.
    Cheers to good old days.

I never leave my real email address.

    A lie,
    That a life worth living,
Resides dying in the walls of rotten shacks,
    Falling apart, falling to ruin,
    I feel the pain,
The loss of a thousand, no a million souls,
    Crying out for justice,
    For pain,
    For release.
Can we ghosts leave these hovels now?
    Are we free?
    Please let us go.
    We are humiliated and alone.
Why can’t you stop raping us?
    Please…

I’d like to know where some of the houses are located.

And is it the same house in eirasi’s and orvaratli’s photographs? They look identical.

Also, I agree with Maylo Harding– I’d love to see these pictures naked without all the touching up.

The chemtrail shots in some of the photos are even better than the old houses! The sky definately didn’t look that way 15 or 20 years ago and we had ordinary “contrails” back then!

What comes to mind for me is that each of these homes was the pride and joy of the owner at one time …. makes you wonder what happened.
