A Source of Photography Inspiration

Shawn Heinrichs is a passionate cinematographer/photographer, scuba diver, and marine conservationist. He has worked with leading film and journalist teams including CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Yann Arthus Bertrand, and National Geographic and delivered projects for many of the top marine conservation organizations including WildAid, Shark Savers, Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy and Pew Environment Group.

Justin Bettman is a commercial and fine art photographer based out of New York and Los Angeles. He currently has a few photography projects that he’s working on with people being the main subjects of most of his photos.

Robert Schlaug is a teacher and photographer from Germany who looks to raise awareness in times of total sensory overload with his photography. He currently is working on a few projects that involve digital processing of landscape photographs.

Melbourne photographer Bryan Sun travels around looking to meet accomplished artists and tradesmen with the hope of photographing them in their comfort zones, or otherwise their workspaces. The project began as a mere experiment for himself to test his ability in the area of portraiture but soon turned into a 6 week tour of the US in cities like New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

As a tribute to their friendship, five friends from California have photographed themselves every five years in the same spot since 1982. The men, now in their late 40s, just recently took their 7th picture in June.

NASA’s Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity took this panoramic full-circle scene of Mars combining 817 images during a stationary period of 4 months during the recent Martian winter. The photos were taken between December 21st, 2011 and May 8th, 2012 on a northward sloped outcrop, “Greeley Haven.”
