A Source of Photography Inspiration

Kristina Alexanderson is a still life photographer that works with toys on a daily basis. One of her favorite subjects are Stormtroopers and showing what the ordinary life of one might be. She uses both her studio and natural light to create beautiful photos that show the human side of the dark side.

Julia Anna Gospodarou is an outstanding black-and-white photographer from Athens, who concentrates her work on the urban skyline. Julia – who is also an architect – uses her incredible talent with long exposures and masterfully applies it to her images – intense tonal ranges and beautifully captured skylines make her photography truly exceptional.

Photographer Bethany Helzer lives in Detroit, Michigan, a city that offers interesting sites for capturing urban decay in action. Although Detroit isn’t entirely a ‘ghost city’, certain sections look like scenes from a post-apocalyptic story. The atmosphere is both haunting and beautiful, a perfect place for photography.

Certain styles of photography speak to me more than others, and confirms that less really can be more. Michel Rajkovic has a way transform his environment into one that seems not of this world. His use of long exposures and incredible tonal ranges creates an ethereal, mystical atmosphere…and when combined with his keen eye for unique compositions, the result is quite powerful.

Known for her amazing self-portraits, Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir, who’s from Iceland, has many other projects that she dedicates her time for. One of them that she enjoys is photographing Icelandic horses.

Kevin Steele is an award-winning photographer from Santa Barbara in California, well-known for his keen eye for capturing people in motion. His clientele includes companies like National Geographic and Microsoft, and it’s easy to see why they turn to Kevin. It takes an incredible amount of talent and quick-thinking to execute these fast-paced shoots and come out with such a powerful portfolio.

Jeff Friesen is an award-winning photographer who claims he’s a serious person, ‘much given to brooding and brow-furrowing.’ But that’s only one part of his life. The other part he spends hanging out with his family, going camping, building sandcastles, jumping in waves, and so on.

Pedro Szekely has been a big fan of photography since 2005, when he bought a Canon Rebel. He started out by purchasing books and magazines that helped him learn, while also spending time out in the field. Pedro lives and works in Los Angeles, about a mile from the coast, and whenever he sees a nice sunset he’ll head for the beach.

Nick Moskaluk enjoys hearing everyone’s story, which is why graffiti on railroad cars intrigues him. Every car has a story as it travels coast to coast, and the art along the sides perfectly expresses that journey.

Being interested in the outdoors and landscape photography has led Enlightened Fellow Photography to exploring many of the National Parks with his camera. With the stunning views after long hikes and beautiful scenery year-round, these places have provided him with plenty of opportunities to take some great photos.
