A Source of Photography Inspiration

Adrian Limani is a self-taught Albanian photographer and artist. Although he’s worked with portrait, nature and still life photography, he is especially prolific in fine art photography. He enjoys the imaginative aspect of taking and transforming photos into ‘art objects.’

Although Valentina Krochik lives in New York city, her photography is full of natural subjects and scenery: flowers, insects, trees and landscapes. Some of her finest photos are in black and white, with emphasis on either the ‘black’ or ‘white’ space. Her style captures the classic beauty of her subjects, bringing out the timeless elegance of roses, for instance, or the splendor of spider webs covered with dew.

Bjørn Wad is a professional photographer from Oslo, Norway, who specializes in portraits, music, fashion and advertising. In addition to working on commissioned projects, he keeps up several interesting long-term personal projects, such as his collection of elderly portraits called ‘Tåsenhjemmet‘. This wonderful series is based on his experience working  at the Tåsenhjem Nursing Home in Oslo while studying at the Norwegian School of Photography.

Andrew Evans is a self taught, 26-year-old photographer who currently lives in Kent, England. He loves incorporating sunrises, vivid color, and emotion into his photos, which is very evident in his work featured here, which has a mysterious and dreamy feel.

John Vachon was a photographer for the Office of War Information (OWI) from 1942-1943, before serving in the army until 1945. He later became a staff photographer at both Life and Look magazine.

Crystal Madsen is a wedding photographer who prides herself in the ability to build a unique relationship with her brides and grooms. She takes the time and makes the effort to get to know each couple with the ultimate goal of achieving excellent photos such as these beautiful laughing bride images.

Natia Rekhviashvili is a freelance photographer from Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2008, she became interested in photography and took a course on documentary photography, in particular. Ever since then, she’s been taking pictures of the life that surrounds her.

Mikhail Palinchak lives in Kiev, Ukraine, a city that is also one of his major photography subjects. As a street photographer focused on urban abstracts, he sees Kiev from a different perspective, noticing unique patterns and shadows that most would miss. His series ‘Lost Faces‘ highlights one reoccurring image that he sees on walls, trashcans, streets and sidewalks: a simple face.

Lisa Walsh is a wedding photographer from around Syracuse, New York. Although weddings are her main focus, she photographs just about everything else, too. One of her recent photoshoots revolved around the quixotic story ‘Alice in Wonderland‘, a theme that required whimsical costumes and unusual props, like a deck of cards flying through the air.

Jon Baker is a photographer from Somerset, England. He splits his time equally between London, England, and his home in the Dolomites, Italy. He has been doing this for 12 years now and consequently has a large London portfolio.
