A Source of Photography Inspiration

Maybe it was where you lived or a cloudy day, but you possibly missed the annular solar eclipse that happened just a few days ago. Well now you can experience it thanks to Matt Moses of Red Sea Visuals who was able to shoot this short time-lapse from his deck in San Francisco.

This is a great time-lapse of the solar eclipse on June 1, 2011 by Eivind Kolstad. Shot between 22:40 and 00:20 in Alta, Finnmark, Norway, there aren’t many parts of the world where someone can experience a midnight eclipse.

Guernsey is located in the English Channel just off the coast of Normandy. This time-lapse by Chris Tostevin-Hall highlights it’s beauty.

David Watson has put together a great time-lapse of the landscapes of Skye in Northwest Scotland.

There are many great photographers who photograph yosemite. We recently featured Shawn Reeder as one of the finest to visit this great place with a camera. I would also have to say that this time-lapse he put together of Yosemite is also one of the best you’ll watch.
