Exploring National Parks – Enlightened Fellow Photography
- By: Nate Kay
Being interested in the outdoors and landscape photography has led Enlightened Fellow Photography to exploring many of the National Parks with his camera. With the stunning views after long hikes and beautiful scenery year-round, these places have provided him with plenty of opportunities to take some great photos.
“In this sense, while I’m largely uninterested in the commercial aspects of photography, I’m fascinated with photography as the “freezing of time.” Though I cannot literally stop the swirling of atoms or the drifting of photons through the universe, I can record a visual imprint of where they were at any precise moment I choose. That is power, in a sense.”
Here is a selection of some of his photos from a few of the National Parks. Check out more of Enlightened Fellow’s photography on Flickr.
