From San Diego To San Francisco – California’s Gnarliest Surf Photographers

While only a handful of these photographs are taken from land, all of these photographers shoot from in the water here in California. Call it insane or call it ‘Looking For a Death Sentence,’ these individuals constantly push the limits and the boundaries between man and Mother Nature just for the sake of capturing one fleeting moment at 1/1000 of a second.

    Wonderful photos, I am a Southern Illinois photographer so we don’t have quite the scenery portrayed in the photos above, but I do believe nature makes for some of the most beautiful pictures taken.
