HDR Time Lapse by Dustin Farrell

We are entering a phase of time lapse photography where the photographers are getting better and better, and there is no turning back. Equipment is more accessible, knowledge is shared, and most importantly, people are re-discovering how beautiful our Earth rather than watching it on the Discovery Channel.

“Landscapes: Volume Two”

Check out the video on his Vimeo page for more information about the equipment he uses.

Music is “Sunshine (Adagio In D Minor)” by John Murphy. #15 here: itunes.apple.com/us/album/sunshine-music-from-motion/id297702863

Thus, I beg the question: Can time lapse photography get much better than this?

A lot of people will not understand how much work was involved for Dustin in such a piece. It’s OUTSTANDING, thank you for sharing!

Well said, Jeff. There is so much pre-production, production, and post production needed to pull off something of this caliber. It’s definetly not a show up and shoot type of production.
