Levitation Effect – Photography by Danielle Painting
- By: Nate Kay
Although a recent graduate of graphic design, photography is Danielle Painting’s true passion. Since an early age she’s tried to capture all the moments around her with a camera. Danielle, a self-taught photographer, continues to find new ways to improve her photography every day.
“This collection of photographs is entitled Rise Above. As a photographer who likes abstract and interesting images, I am always wanting the viewer to look at my photos more than once. With this collection I wanted to use nothing but the camera and the subject in everyday situations, but with a subtly surreal touch. The levitation “effect” was accomplished only by the model and camera settings, and no Photoshop was used to achieve it.”
