23 Memorable Park Bench Pictures

Monday, July 6th, 2009 by Nate Kay

When my mom an dad first started dating, occasionally they would go out to the local park, find a well positioned wooden bench, and just sit there watching people walk by. They always found it very entertaining and it always gave them something to talk about.

After I left college, I worked a downtown office job and every once in a while I would go to the park on my lunch break and sit on one of the many park benches there with complete strangers. It was a lot cooler than eating lunch in the break room with co-workers.

Many times I’ve hiked in some pretty far out locations only to find that someone has put a lone wooden bench in the exact location where hikers may need a rest. The view tends to always be great too from that location.

Although somewhat cheap and simple, park benches help provide entertainment, build relationships, offer comfort and rest, and contribute to life’s memories.
