I’m about as musically talented as a hippo. But I do love music, just when it’s not from my own making. That’s why I admire anyone who has the talent to perform in front of others. I routinely attend the opera and symphony and don’t get me wrong, they have some amazing talent featured at these venues. I would have to say though, there is nothing like finding a good street musician showcasing their talent. Not stopping and listening seems like a sin to me. You have to find out if this person really has it or are they just out there strumming their guitar like an 8 year old newbie. Only occasionally have I walked away shaking my head, but most of the time I am quite entertained. So next time you see a street musician, take a few minutes, enjoy their music, and leave them a few coins or dollars. Anyone with musical talent deserves recognition.
