Born in Bandung, Indonesia in 1980, Setia Nugraha has been living in Nuremberg, Germany since 1999 and has spent a lot of time on the streets shooting since 2006.
Feeling lonely, alienated and frustrated – these feelings emerged within Setia while living in a foreign country. Rather than let it get him down, it encouraged Setia to express himself through photography. He found the streets to be the perfect place to do that.
“I believe that when we are standing on the street we can explore our imaginations, social responsibility and of course sharpen our eyes and heart. As long as the wheel of life is spinning around, we will not run out of idea. As time goes by, and I realize, things we have been through, things we have done, in fact, can result a piece of work. Creating work can be carried out everywhere, anytime. It does not depend on time and place.”

great photgraphy. i think we r both crazy. i have camera all the time with me. but i mostly please people by taking their photos and sending these back to them. i upload these
