The Sandpit: A Day in the Life of New York City, in Miniature

It’s been two years since Sam O-Hare debuted his day in the life of New York City, in miniature, but it stills serves as one of my favorite tilt-shift inspired time-lapse videos showing human spaces in a different way.

The wonderful soundtrack is a piece composed by Human, co-written by Rosi Golan and Alex Wong.

Check out this Q&A with the director.

Love it. Amazing video and great footage. Would love to have the opportunity to learn this technique as well as the time and places to shoot the good footage.

NYC is a beautiful city and one every photographer should visit.
