Wrestling is Art – Photography by Ali Waxman

Ever since Ali Waxman was a child, he has been fascinated by the ebb and flow of athletics. He tries to capture the movement and excitement of a match. What starts out as hope soon becomes manipulated into a manifesto of distress, which Ali captures in his photography and proves to be very interesting.

Check out more of his photography on his website and Facebook. (Thanks to the Hershey Youth, Middle School and Varsity wrestlers and coach, Brandon Bucher)

As a former D1 wrestler and photographer I really enjoy these photos. Very creative and I feel they capture the chaos of a wrestling match. Well done!
